''Greece is and will remain a part of the European family and the euro zone,'' European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said after meeting with Greek Premier Antonis Samaras on Thursday. The future of Greece is ''within the euro zone and must remain within the euro zone, because this is the best way to avoid burdening those who are most vulnerable,'' but both sides must ''honor their commitments,'' Barroso said. Greece must stop delaying, and implement the agreements it signed on to in exchange for the second tranche of European bailout funds. ''Words are not enough, facts are more important,'' he added. European institutions ''will take all necessary measures to guarantee the stability of the euro zone,'' and everyone must understand ''we are all in the same boat,'' Barroso said. 'Greece can make it, and Greece and the EU will make it,'' European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said in Athens on Thursday.
