Some auto producers are considered as the best employers for business and engineering graduates in Germany, a German newspaper cited the findings of a research company on Tuesday. According to Trendence, a Berlin-based research institute, BMW group and Audi AG topped the rankings of the best employers in Germany for business and engineering graduates. The institute annually publishes the results of six studies in Germany including the School Leavers Barometer, the Young Professional Barometer and the Trendence Graduate Barometer with four editions, namely Business, Engineering, IT and Law. More than 10 percent of over 14,000 participants in Business Edition see BMW Group as the best employer in 2014, followed by Audi Group. As for engineering graduates, Audi AG, BMW Group, Porsche AG and Volkswagen AG are the top five best employers. It is also worth mentioning that 12.1 percent of the participants want to serve in the police departments in Germany for school leavers in 2014. For those who are majoring in Information Technology, Google, SAP and Microsoft turn out to be the three best employers. The Trendence Graduate Barometer is an annual online survey about the expectations and preferences of students in their professional position after graduation. Students are asked which companies they find attractive, how they look for their first professional position and what factors are important for them in this position, according to an introductory statement of the institute on its website.
