Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf received here today the former Prime Minister and Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of France Edouard Balladur. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of coordination in the development assistance to some Arab countries and follow-up meetings of the partnership "Deauville", which were held last Saturday in France and participated by the Group of Eight countries, a number of international financial institutions including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Development Bank and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. The meeting was attended by French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bertrand Besancenot.
