Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan launched on Wednesday at MOA the project pertaining to strengthening local communities and enhancing means of living. The project is concerned about boosting agricultural industries in the north, south and Bekaa. The event was attended by former Deputy Michael Daher, Industry Ministry Director General Dany Gedoun and others. It is to note that this project is financed by the Italian cooperation bureau and is executed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Hajj Hassan gave a word stressing on the importance of complying with the food safety measures without which factories or industries have no good reputation. He also highlighted the importance of training farmers and Coops on the procedures of marketing, based on the demand and supply axis.
