
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) on Wednesday signed a cooperation agreement under which ADNOC will offer job opportunities for a number of persons with special needs in its group of companies in implementation of the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 for developing the capacities of Emirati citizens. Mohammed Al Qubaisi, Director of Human Resources at ADNOC, stated following the signing ceremony that ADNOC is committed within its Corporate Social Responsibility to provide support and care for persons with special needs, noting that many are now working with ADNOC and its group of companies. He added that ADNOC has launched many programmes to train persons with special needs so as to enable their entry into the job market, thus raising the total number of national workforce members in ADNOC and its subsidiaries to 15,000. ADNOC, he said, had achieved 35% Emiratisation target, and hopes to raise the percentage to 75 by 2017.
