
Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce said it will organize the 4th Malaysia-China Entrepreneur Conference (MCEC).
The theme of the conference will be “Journey begins with the Sea Silk Road, said the chamber 9on Monday.
The idea of the Sea Silk Road was raised by President of China Xi Jinping when he visited Malaysia last year.
Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce chief Huang Hanliang expressed will to promote the construction of the Sea Silk Road with actual moves to lead to a win-win situation for all parties.
Huang said, during this conference, entrepreneurs from both countries will share their experience and provide positive information and to let more Chinese companies get to know Malaysia’s investment environment, expand chances of investment, and lead more Malaysia’s advanced products into Chinese market.
It is estimated to draw in 1,500 participants to this session.
Malaysian Chinese Association President Liao Zhonglai, Chinese commercial counselor in the embassy Wu Zhengping and other representatives of political and business circles of two countries will attend the launching ceremony MCEC in Xiamen of east China on Sept. 9.
