The 14th meeting of Iran-Syria Joint Economic Commission will be held in Demascus on Tueseday and Wednesday to follow up mutual economic cooperation. Iranian chairperson of the meeting will be Minister of Transportation and Urban Development Ali Nikzad and while Syrian side will be headed by Minister of Economic and Trade Mohammad Nazal al-She’ar. The meeting will look for a mechanism to expand Tehran-Demascus relations and strengthen mutual cooperation in different fields of interests especially in economic and trade domains. The two countries has also established a high commission that is cochaired by the Iranian 1st vice president and the Syrian prime minister that meets annually in Tehran and Demascus.
