
Results of the Labor Force Survey for June 2013 have showed that the total labor force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the age group (15 years and over) amounted to 11,361,770 workers representing 54,0 % of the total population (15) years and over, of whom (9,599,606) were males. The Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) reported in its bulletin on the survey, of which the Saudi Press Agency "SPA" received a copy, that the total number of the employed, according to the survey results, was (10,729,123), representing 94,4 % of the total labor force, of which males representing 87,0 % as the number of the unemployed amounted to (632,647), of which males representing 42,3 % and the overall unemployment rate was 5.6 %.
