Wall Street closes lower on Fed's policy decision

US stocks on Thursday lost ground for narrowly volatile trading session but still wrapped up the month higher, as investors are trying to digest the Federal Reserve's latest policy statement. The Dow fell nearly 0.5 percent, and the S&P 500 ticked down 0. 4 percent while the Nasdaq dropped 0.3 percent.
