USD rate stabilises vis dinar

Exchange rate of the US dollar stabilized vis a vis the Kuwaiti dinar settling at KD 0.281. The euro remained unchanged, at KD 0.370, compared to Sunday's figures, said the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Monday. The rate of the Sterling pound also stayed stable against the dinar, at KD 0.454, while Japanese yen was unchanged at KD 0.003 and the Swiss franc stabilized, at KD 0.306. Global markets are currently stable with fall of the annual festivals, Christmas and the new year -- also in anticipation of decisions by the US administration on coping with the so-called "fiscal cliff," balancing revenues with income as well as taxes.
