US greenback stable against Kuwaiti currency at kuwaiti dinar 0.284

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Kuwaiti dinar (KD) remained unchanged on Sunday to trade for KD 0.284. The euro against the rose to KD 0.377, said the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK). The CBK daily exchange rate bulletin also reported that the pound Sterling traded for KD 0.437, the Swiss franc was up to KD 0.306, and the Japanese yen stayed at KD 0.003. The US greenback lost ground yesterday, partially weighed down by negative home sales data in the US for the month of June. Another contributing factor was rise in rate of Japanese yen due to election results and rise in euro rate due to end of political crisis in Portugal.
