Tokyo stocks dive 3.26% on strong yen, poor China data

Tokyo stocks slumped 3.26 percent in mid-afternoon trade Friday, following sharp falls on Wall Street and a rise in the yen as investors fret about the Ukraine crisis and China's economy. The benchmark Nikkei-225 index slipped 483.21 points to 14,333.02, while the Topix index of all first-section shares fell 3.08 percent, or 37.34 points, to 1,166.23.
