Spain stocks slump on prospect of Syria strike

Spanish share prices tumbled more than three percent in late trade Tuesday as investors showed concern over the prospect of a Western military strike against Syria. The Madrid stock exchange's IBEX-35 index of top shares dropped 3.06 percent to 8,385.6 points about half an hour before the close of trade.
