Seoul shares up in late morning trading

South Korean stocks moved higher late Tuesday morning, fueled by rise in blue chip shares that offset investor uncertainties ahead of major earning reports due out this week. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) gained 9.55 points, or 0.49 percent, to 1,963.33 as of 11:20 a.m. The gains followed early fluctations as traders took a wait-and-see stance.
