Seoul shares start higher

South Korean stocks got off to a good start on Friday on the strength of gains from blue chips. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 0.47 percent, or 9.06 points, to 1,936.02 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
