Seoul shares rebound in late morning after rate cut

South Korean stocks bounced back late Wednesday morning paring their earlier losses after the Bank of Korea cut the key interest rate to a record low of 1.75 percent, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) added 7.94 points, or 0.4 percent, to 1,988.77 as of 11:20 a.m.
