Seoul shares open lower on US woes

South Korean stocks opened lower Thursday as the U.S. Federal Reserve's latest minutes showed the central bank may commence a scaling-back of its bond buying program "in coming months," analysts said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 13.73 points, or 0.68 percent to 2,003.51 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
