Seoul shares open lower on China woe

South Korean stocks opened lower Wednesday as investors' sentiment was dented by concerns over a possible economic slowdown in China, Seoul's top trading partner, analysts said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) shed 4.93 points, or 0.25 percent, to 1,959.93 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
