Seoul shares open higher on US rally

South Korean stocks got off to a strong start Friday, tracking the overnight bullish run in the U.S. market that was mainly spurred by the weak dollar, analysts said.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) added 5.97 points, or 0.28 percent, to 2,126.30 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
