Seoul shares open higher Chinese hope

South Korean stocks opened higher Wednesday as investors eyed China who set the country's 2014 economic growth target at 7.5 percent, unchanged from last year, analysts said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) added 21.65 points, or 1.11 percent, to 1,975.76 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
