Seoul shares close higher
Seoul - XINHUA
South Korean stocks closed higher Tuesday. The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) advanced 10.02 points, or 0.51 percent, to finish at 1,993.09. Trading volume stood at 446.9 million shares worth 4.55 trillion won (4.24 billion U.S. dollars). The South Korean currency ended at 1,072.80 won against the U.S. dollar, down 0.3 won from Monday's close.
