Saudi stock market shares exceeds SR 1.4tr

Saudi Capital Market Authority said that the market value of the shares issued at the end of January stood at SR 1,439.76 billion, an equivalent to US$383.94 billion, recording an increase of 2.81%, in comparison with December, 2012. In its report today, the Authority pointed out that the Share General Index of the Capital Market closed at 7,043points, up 242 points, an increase of 3.56%, compared to December 2012
