Qatar stock index gains 43.4 points

Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 43.4 points (+0.34%) when the bourse closed at 12,667.33 points here Monday.
The traded value reached QR 1.313 Billion with a volume of 42,364,854 shares from 12,350 transactions today.
Indices of five sectors gained, while industries (-0.12%) and telecommunications (-0.13%) went down slightly.
Insurance sector advanced the most, up +1.24% to 3,967.99 points followed by real estate, up +0.73% to 2,600.84 points.
Today 20 companies gained, 18 went down while four remained unchanged.
Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company share led the gainers, up +6.81% to QR 51 from the previous closing at QR 47.75.
Barwa Real Estate share dropped -3.62% to QR 49.25 from the previous closing at QR 51.10.
