Qatar stock exchange up 1.13%

Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Sunday adding 118.89 points (1.13%) to advance to 10,664.16 points from 10,545.27 on Thursday. The volume of the shares traded up to 13,077,213 from 7,772,124 on Thursday and the value of shares increased to QR900,467,610.60 from QR330,708,853.44 Thursday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 1.00% to QR70.50, International Islamic Bank gained 2.25% to QR63.60, Doha Bank added 2.04% to QR60.00 and Gulf International up by 2.95% to QR66.20. The Banking and Financial sector index was added 1.10 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.06 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.63 points while insurance sector lost 1.42 points.
