Qatar stock exchange up 0.44%

The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 37.02 points (or 0.44%) to advance to 8,528.58 points from 8,491.56 Wednesday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 4,694,338 from 5,444,388 on Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR215,042,437.65 from QR233,141,911.54 Wednesday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.15% to QR129.50, Commercial Bank of Qatar rose 0.74% to QR68.50, Industries Qatar gained 1.31% to QR170.20 and Doha Bank up by 1.82% to QR44.80. The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.16 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.57 points. The industrial sector was gained 1.05 points while insurance sector fell 1.11 points.p 0.44%
