Qatar stock exchange up 0.25%

The Qatar Exchange in the green area Wednesday adding 21.14 points (or 0.25%) to advance to 8,533.32 points from 8,512.18 Tuesday.The volume of the shares traded fell to 5,953,127 from 11,660,760 on Tuesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR278,695,929.48 from QR503,441,883.34 Tuesday.Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.97% to QR134.90, Industries Qatar rose 1.58% to QR173.80, Commercial Bank of Qatar gained 0.46% to QR66.20 and International Islamic Bank up by 1.76% to Q51.90.The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.48 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.18 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.61 points while insurance sector fell 1.44 points
