Qatar Stock exchange up 0.17%

The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Monday adding 14.03 points or 0.17% to 8,315.23 points from the previous closing of 8,301.20. The volume of shares traded was down to 12,079,739 from 15,533,767 on Sunday and the value of shares rose to QR 299,188,281.60from QR 288,553,767.29 Sunday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 0.83% to 134.10 , Al khalij Commercial Bank rose 1.13% to QR 16.99, Barwa gained 1.31% to QR 27.10 and Vodafone Qatar up by 0.66% to QR9.15. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector down1.16 points while the Insurance sector gained 5.07 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 10.75 points and the Services sector added 10.57 points.
