Qatar stock exchange up 0.28%

Qatar Exchange up on Tuesday, adding 26.82 points (0.28%) to advance to 9,667.36 points from 9,640.54 on Monday. The volume of the shares increased to 7,537,659 from 6,395,070 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR 373,533,723.56 from QR275,200,536.52 Monday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 2.92% to QR172.90, Doha Bank rose 2.57% to QR49.95, Qatar Telecom (Ooredoo) gained 0.88% to QR137.50 and Masraf Al Rayan up by 0.72% to QR28.15. The Banking and Financial sector index up 1.51 points while Insurance sector index up 1.38 points and Telecom sector rose 0.73 points.
