Qatar stock exchange down 1.04%

The Qatar Exchange down on Wednesday 101.15 points or 1.04% to 9,596.34 points from the previous closing of 9,697.49 points. The volume of the shares up to 6,592,902 from 6,565,341 on Tuesday and the value of shares decreased to QR325,078,180.61 from QR325,525,955.37 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 1.33% to QR148.50, Qatar National Bank lost 2.77% to QR165.00, International Islamic Bank fell 0.89% to QR55.80 and Doha Bank down by 1.30% to QR53.10. The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 1.57 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.09 points. The industrial sector was down 1.06 points while insurance sector up 1.13 points.
