Qatar stock exchange down 0.51%

The Qatar Exchange down on Monday 49.32 points or 0.51% to 9,618.26 points from the previous closing of  9,667.58 points. The volume of the shares fell to 6,395,843 from 8,263,161 on Sunday and the value of shares decreased to QR184,705,625.30 from QR313,421,065.09 Sunday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.95% to QR167.30, International Islamic Bank lost 0.88% to QR56.00, Electricity and Water fell 1.19% to QR158.00 and Qatar Navigation down by 1.75% to QR78.60. The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 0.50 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.04 points. The industrial sector was down 0.48 points while insurance sector fell 1.86 points
