Qatar stock exchange down 0.14%

The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Wednesday at 11,839.46 points (0.14%) down 16.48 points from the previous closing of 11,855.94 points on Tuesday.The volume of shares was up to 18,671,682 from Tuesday 13,226,450 and the value of shares increased to QR1,086,264,419.61 from QR722,583,877.95 on Tuesday.Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 1.53% to QR193.30, Industries Qatar lost 0.56% to QR197.00, Doha Bank fell 0.30% to QR66.80 and Ooredoo decreased by 0.99% to QR150.50.The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.09% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.46 points. The industrial sector was fell 0.50 points while insurance sector added 3.68% points.
