Qatar exchange Up 0.77%

The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 62.24 points or 0.77% to 8,171.48 points from the previous closing of 8,109.24. The volume of shares traded was down to 5,406,427 from 5,884,861 on Wednesday and the value of shares was fell to QR234,982,359.16 from QR273,252,599.86 Wednesday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 3.00% to QR78.90,Qatar Insurance rose 1.44% to QR77.50, Masref Al Rayyan gained 1.43% to QR23.34. and Islamic Insurance up by 3.00% to QR51.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector rose 109.06 and the Insurance sector added 95.08 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 43.91 points and the Services sector was up 33.08 points
