Qatar exchange up 0.48%

The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Tuesday, adding 39.54 points or 0.48% to 8,334.27 points from the previous closing of 8,294.73 . The volume of shares traded was down to 5,565,052 from 9,295,614 on Monday and the value of shares was fell to QR231,284,064.56 from QR377,702,469.33 Monday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 1.63% to QR81.30, Intl. Islamic Bank rose 3.36% to QR52.30, Doha Bank gained 0.98% to QR62.00 and Gulf warehousing Co up by 2.60% to QR35.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 101.19 and the Insurance sector lost 146.94 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 32.58 points and the Services sector was added 9.34 points.
