Qatar exchange up 0.42%

The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Tuesday, adding 34.71 points or 0.42% to 8,342.19 points from the previous closing of 8,307.48. The volume of shares traded was down to 5,645,951 from 6,774,350 on Monday and the value of shares was fell to QR265,299,043.02 from QR 308,066,351.63 Monday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 0.61% to QR82.20, Qatar Insurance rose 1.89% to QR81.00, Masref Al Rayan gained 1.27% to QR24.00 and Electricity & Water up by 1.45% to QR133.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 63.80 and the Insurance sector up 129.66 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 1.87 points and the Services sector was added 19.93 points.
