The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 28.57 points or 0.34% to 8,347.74 points from the previous closing of 8,319.17. The volume of shares traded was up to 5,539,446 from 5,237,886 on Wednesday and the value of shares was increased to QR238,892,983.20 from QR205,133,529.93 Wednesday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 3.00% to QR78.90, Masref Al Raya rose 1.00% to QR24.25, Islamic Insurance gained 2.70% to QR53.20 and Gulf International up by 0.98% to QR25.85. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector rose 41.23 and the Insurance sector lost 51.86 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 134.81 points and the Services sector was dropped 9.48 points.
