Qatar Exchange up 0.20%

The Qatar Exchange keep its upward trend Tuesday adding 16.79 points or 0.20% to 8,429.23 points from the previous closing of  8,412.44. The volume of shares traded was down to 3,554,559 from 3,794,881 on Monday and the value of shares was increased to QR141, 356,933.75 from QR129, 129,055.87 Monday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 2.03% to QR75.50, Qatar Islamic Bank rose 1.15% to QR79.10, Doha Bank gained 1.31% to QR54.20 and Al khalij Commercial Bank up by 0.64% to QR17.22. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 77.98 while the Insurance sector lost 43.21 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 45.50 points and the Services sector down 3.62 points.
