Qatar exchange down 1.58%

The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 133.40 points or 1.58% to 8,307.48 points from the previous closing of 8,440.88 . The volume of shares traded was up to 6,774,350 from 5,262,945 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR308,066,351.63 from QR236,257,869.82 Sunday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 1.84% to QR122.60, Qatar Islamic Bank fell 2.23% to QR78.90, Qatar Insurance lost 3.87% to QR79.50 and Doha Bank down 2.33% to QR58.70. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 205.10 points while the Insurance sector down 276.60 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 116.57 points and the Services sector fell 79.94 points.
