Qatar exchange down 1.10%

The Qatar Exchange down on Sunday 96.98 points or 1.10% to 8,684.72 points from the previous closing of  8,781.70 points. The volume of shares traded fell to 2,718,723 from  5,318,198 Thursday, and the value of shares decreased to QR151,938,362.93 from QR236,352,385.57       Thursday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 1.71% to QR138.00, Industries Qatar lost 0.91% to QR163.50, Qatar Telecom fell 2.45% to QR107.70 and Qatar Insurance down 1.89% to QR67.60. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 1.24 points while the Insurance sector added 0.52 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 0.93 points and the Services sector lost 0.99 points.
