Qatar exchange down 0.23%

The Qatar Exchange was down on Wednesday 19.79 points or 0.23% to 8,450.14 points from the previous closing of 8,469.93. The volume of shares traded was fell to 8,505,388 from 13,447,919 Tuesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR255,906,460.54 from QR368,273,413.78 Tuesday Among the top losers were Qatar Insurance whose share dropped 1.27% to QR70.10 , Gulf International lost 1.09 to QR27.30, Gulf warehousing Co fell 1.19% to QR41.50 and Islamic Holding down 1.81% to QR37.90. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector down 3.69 points while the Insurance sector dropped 15.38 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 10.86 points and the Services sector down 13.22 points.
