Qatar exchange down 0.17%

The Qatar Exchange down on Tuesday 14.77 points or 0.17% to 8,779.90 points from the previous closing of 8,794.67. The volume of shares traded up to 8,063,455 from 6,285,754 Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR328,837,212.43 from QR272,209,042.18 Monday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.54% to QR130.10, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.26% to QR76.50, Qatar Insurance fell 4.52% to QR57.00 and Rayan down 3.82% to QR24.91. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 0.17 points while the Insurance sector added 2.66 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 0.68 points and the Services sector fell 0.31 points.
