Qatar exchange down 0.43%

The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 41.58 points or 0.43% to 9,652.35 points from the previous closing of 9,693.93 points. The volume of the shares down to 4,227,500 from 8,792,964 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR 253,769,172.60 from QR 326,815,378.89 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 1.72% to QR 160.00, Salam International lost 0.41% to QR 12.25, United Dev. Company fell 1.14% to QR 21.60 and Comm. Bank of Qatar down by 0.30% to QR 66.40. The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.82% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.61% points. The industrial sector was gained 0.41% points while insurance sector down 0.64% points.
