Milan stocks drop over 3.0%

Stocks in Milan plunged over 3.0 percent in midday trading on Thursday following heavy losses in the banking sector and renewed tension among investors over a rise of the yield on Italian bonds. The main FTSE Mib index in Milan was down 3.32 percent at 14.8178 points.
