Kuwaiti dinar stabilizes at 0.272 per dollar

The Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate against the dollar stabilized at KD 0.272 per dollar, and decreased against the euro to KD 0.387, the state's official monetary body, the Central Bank of Kuwait, said on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar also decreased against the Sterling pound to KD 0.440, and kept to KD 0.003 per Japanese yen, and KD 0.372 per Swiss franc, the daily CBK bulletin said. Markets are going through a phase of "confusion" after the US Federal Bank announced its intensions to freeze interest rates until 2013.
