Kuwait stock exchange turns upward

Main indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE), which posted some losses in early trades on Monday, turned upward in transactions around 10:30 a.m. posting gains. Weighted Index read 420.92, humbly rising 0.3 points, price index put on up to 7.31 points reaching level of 5,970.42 points. KSX 15 1,021.25 also turned up putting on 0.71 points. Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said the number of trades reached 1,791, value of the traded shares amounted to KD 34,210,403.356 and volume of the exchanged stocks 107,876,930. In early trades today, all the indices were bearish, with the weighted index reading 419.41 points, losing 1.21 points, price index shed 11.2 points dropping to the level of 5,951.91 points, and the KSX 15 index, which reflects trades in blue-chips, stood at level of 1,016.41 points, falling by 4.13 points. Also in these early operations, the number of trades reached 562, value of traded shares amounted to KD 3,097,610.563 and volume of the exchanged stocks reached 21,776,945.
