Investment, tax authorities conclude protocol to ease investment procedures

The General Authority for Investment and Tax Authority on Wednesday concluded a protocol to organize data and information exchange and develop the investment environment in Egypt.
The protocol was signed by Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian General Authority For Investment Alaa Omar and Head of the Tax Authority Abdel Moneim Matar.
The protocol came as part of the country's strategy to ease finalizing the procedures required by the investors, Omar said.
He added that the protocol will see creating accurate data and information base, in coordination with the Tax Authority.
