The overall Quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestinian Territory reached 102.21 in February 2012, registering an increase by 3.08% compared to the previous month, Wednesday said a report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). IPI for February 2012 increased due to the increase in manufacturing by 4.01% compared to the previous month, which has a share of 80.56% from the total industry. Meanwhile, mining and quarrying industry increased by 63.90%, which formed a share of 4.59% of the total industry, in the same period, while water supply and electricity industry decreased by 14.60%, which has a share of 14.85% of the total industry.
