Indian stocks plunged over 850 points Tuesday due to heavy selling pressure.
The BSE benchmark index Sensex closed at 26,987.46 points, 854. 86 points or 3.07 percent down from the previous close 27,842.32 points.
All the sectors were trading in red. Heavy selling pressure was seen in auto, banking, capital goods, healthcare, IT, metal, oil and gas and consumer durables sectors.
