Indian stocks open flat

Indian stocks opened nearly flat Wednesday with the benchmark index of the Indian equities market Sensex opening at 20,643.85 points, just 9.64 points up from the previous close of 20,634.21 points. The benchmark index rises on a positive note extending yesterday's gains even as the Asian markets were mixed. With the post-budget rally over, and the benchmarks are likely to remain rangebound and wait for elections results for cues.
