Alexandria harbor on Wednesday received a Russian and an Ukrainian vessels carrying 126,000 tons of wheat and corn, raising the stock of grains in Alexandria Port to 1.019 million tons.
A train loaded with 1,430 tons of wheat left the port heading for the mills in Cairo, acting head of Alexandria port Fathi Taha said.
He said work is regular in the various sections of the harbor as handling of commodities has reported a notable increase.
