FX margin trading sinks more than 27% in South Korea

Margin trading in the South Korean foreign exchange (FX) market tumbled more than 27 percent in the second quarter of this year from three months earlier on decreased currency volatility, financial data showed Tuesday.
The volume of foreign exchange margin trading stood at 335,555 contracts in the April-June period, down 27.3 percent from the previous quarter, according to the data compiled by the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA).
